Our workshop was founded in 1957 by Imre Elfenbein.

He was my father's uncle. My father learned each and every step of producing the perfect comforter. He took over his uncle´s business after he retired.

In the old days, there were several craftsmen who made comforters in Hungary. Nowadays, there are just a few of us who really produce handmade comforters, that is, sew and fill them by hand.

More than 10 years ago, I joined my father to learn the craft and keep alive this beautiful profession.
